Why home is everything to me

Why home is everything to me Muhammad A house is a physical structure made of walls and roof. In contrast, a home is where we create personal memories, woven with love, laughter and warmth. A house shelters the body but a home comforts the souls and hearts. From my first memory to countless moments, since I still remember stepping into my home for the very first time in 2015. Over the years, my home has witnessed milestones, laughter and the simple joys of life. Winter is my favorite season at home. I love sipping hot chocolate with freshly baked cinnamon rolls and marshmallows in front of the cracking fireplace. Moreover in spring, my home comes alive with the sweet aroma of wild roses and buzz of honey bees enjoying the flowers on our balcony. I have spent countless mornings watching white rabbits wander into the snow and magpies chirping outside my window. Each moment makes me realize how alive my home feels. This is what makes a home special, where you get positive expectations every day, every night, every morning. On the other hand, a house is an empty structure which has no feelings, no memories, and no hopes. Even if a house has billions of fancy decorations, lights and expensive furniture, it still will not be as shiny as a home. A home shines because it is filled with souls, lives and the love a family creates together. It is alive through the memories and bonds built within its walls. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping Canadian families move into their first home, building strong and vibrant communities from coast to coast.
