Why My Home Is Everything To Me
Why My Home Is Everything To Me
Michael Pytlarz
Everything needs a home. Even garbage has a home. The garbage can! I have a very extensive list of why I love my home, but I’m only going to tell you three. Three very important reasons.
First of all, the sense of security and safety. It’s like a snowball’s chance in hell to have a good day without a comfy, cozy bed to crawl into at night. I mean, I can’t even imagine what that would feel like. I guess you have to feel that sense to be jubilant.
If it’s raining, you probably want somewhere warm to feel loved to go to, right? To feel loved is one of the most important things in the world. Children need stable homes to have a better chance of developing social skills. If you don’t have warmth, comfort, and love, it’s not a home.
Learning and growing is very important for children like me. You need to be in a healthy environment, comfortable, and feel supported to grow and learn to be wise adults. You also need to go to a proper school to be knowledgeable. I recall being homeschooled in kindergarten, and I felt way more comfortable at home. The quality of a child’s early experiences are crucial for healthy brain development. You should feel free to learn, grow, and explore.
To sum up, a home, no matter the colour, the size, or the structure, is the most important thing. A home needs three things: safety, love, and the ability to learn and grow. It is the refuge where we sleep and dream. I hope everyone has somewhere to call home.
