Why a Home is Important to Everyone

Why a Home is Important To Everyone By: Waniya Mohsin Who doesn’t need a home? Books have a home in the library and garbage has a home in the landfill. Every living thing has a home. A tree is a living thing, it has a home. A home is one of the most valuable things in the world First, a home provides you with food and pleasant air everyday. If a child wakes up feeling hungry but knows they have food in the fridge, that's a strong feeling. If they lay on their bed comfy and warm, that's a good feeling. How can you have a good day starving and feeling cold? That’s why everything and everyone needs a home. Second, a home is filled with love and care. There is more than 1% of people that love and care about you. So even if you get bullied, don’t come home thinking NOBODY cares about you. Your parents, your cousins and even strangers care about you and love you. My parents work hard to make me happy and actually afford a house. Yours probably do too! Your parents love you, and so do many other people. So remember… you are loved and cared for. Finally, a home is a place to be yourself. At home, we can be exactly who we are, without needing to pretend or hide parts of ourselves. Whether it’s being goofy with family, reading your favorite book, or relaxing in your own space, home lets us express ourselves freely. To sum up, no matter how big or small your home is, it's still a place you need to grow, learn, sleep and feel safe.
