Home to Me

Home is many things to me. It's not just a structure where I go to do homework or watch TV. It is a wonderful place where there is no judgment about beliefs or appearances, only traits of love, joy, and peace (well, sometimes peace). Home without my family would never be the same because my home holds memories and without my family there wouldn't be any. From my first words, to first steps through all the chapters of my life, my home was right there with me. Through the tough and joyful times my home stayed the same. Home has a past, present and future. You should not stay in the past but endure, looking forward to what lies ahead. Everyone has a strong connection with their home, along with a sturdy foundation, whether it's a belief or passion. If you think about it, home is a feeling that is hard to comprehend, but to me, home is like a puzzle. All the little things in life fit together to form this feeling of belonging, comfort and love. So I guess you could say,”home is where the heart is.’’
