Home is a special place where we feel safe, happy and loved and make memories, share laughter and relax. about home we can all feel all of our 5 senses that make home special. Meaning of touch, touch is a sense that makes home feel happy and warm and inviting. We feel our soft blankets that warm us up when cold, the warmth when touching a family member's hand, or the relaxing feeling of grass in my backyard. This physical sense remind us that home is a place where we can relax and be ourselves In my home I feel my parents gentle hand come into mine. Meaning of sight/see, when we think of home, we often picture our cozy living room with colourful decorations on the walls, also our favourite spots. The walls in my home are filled with pictures of happy memories , just like birthdays! That is the meaning of sight. In my home I see the beautiful faces of family members. Meaning of the sense hearing, hearing is also a big part of home. The sounds of laughter , talking and even nature sounds coming from outside makes us feel safe. These sounds reminds us that we are with family and friends, creating a place where we belong. In my home I hear the beautiful sound of laughter coming from my family. The sense of smell is very special because it can bring back memories and feelings just like the smell of cookies baking in the oven can make me feel happy. Scents like flowers or a loved one's perfume can also make us feel safe and loved. These smells help turn a house into a warm welcome home. In my home I smell my moms delicious cookies baking in the oven. I taste cookies melting in my mouth. Home is where all our senses come alive.
