Home for Me Is...

When I think of home, I think of me and my family spending time together, or watching a movie, or taking my dog Winnie out for a walk, and just spending time together, I also think of home being somewhere you trust and feel safe. Another meaning of home is when I smell any scent of candle’s because my Mom loves candles and whenever she is home there is some kind of candle lit. Taste at home is when I eat my dads homemade turkey and egg mixed together. We call it Tag. When I feel like home, I feel myself in bed cozy and warm, and listening to music well I clean my room. Home could be where you grew up or where you have your best memories, like when you have that feeling where you just want to go up to one of your family members and tell them “I love you.” Or show how you love them, by giving them a huge hug. Home to me is the nice view of nature and the mountains, the mountains always remind me of home because I have a cabin in Canmore, and when you wake up there and just take a moment to enjoy your home and your family you realize how lucky you are to have a place so amazing! Just when I see the mountains, that's how I know how lucky I am. At home me and my sister always love to play together. I remember when we were little and my sister would always do something radical on my parents bed, we still have this video of me going “bock bock I’m a chicken, bock.” Or me and my sister jumping like maniac’s together on my parents bed. This is the meaning of home to me.
