Five Senses Poem

At home I hear my big brother yelling a song! I hear my dog howling, whining and barking. I see my dog begging for food and eating snow. I see water coming out of my tap and it is overflowing. I smell the food in my pantry overflowing with snacks! I smell my wet dog. I taste marshmallows melting in my mouth. I taste delicious food on my supper table. I feel my warm blankets in my bed. I feel heat and warmth in my home. I am so thankful for a good, safe and comfortable home. It is a place that a lot of people don’t have so I’m very thankful. I love my home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making decent homes and affordable ones.
