Home is more than just a house. The kitchen and the living room are the heart of my home. The living room is where family and friends gather. This space brings us together when we are playing, eating, watching TV or even working.The best part about my home is the living room. It is a place where joy spreads when we are playing board games with family or friends.The warmness spreads when we are beside the fireplace or on the carpet.We sit beside the fireplace as the warm air pumps out. The most comfortable place in the living room is the couch. Each time either I watch TV or read a book, I always sit on the couch no matter what. I love watching TV on the couch together with my family,even though my mom says that I have to sit on my chair. Home is the place I feel the most safety and belonging.The kitchen is where the best food comes from.Each time I come home from school,I always think of helping my mom cook.I love the smell of the fresh cooked food. Sometimes when my mom is not here, me, my dad and my sister surprise my mom by helping her cook the food.In conclusion, a house can never be a home unless there is comfort and joy.
