What a Home Means to Me

A house is a place where you can feel lonely and where there are four walls and a roof, but what is a home? A home is a place where you are loved and make wholesome memories with family and friends. A home is also where you laugh and play with your friends and family. A home is where it’s cozy and warm wrapped up in a blanket by the fireplace like a burrito that just came out of the oven. A home is where you smell that amazing smell of fresh food that just came out of the oven and your like… “Mom! Is that banana bread I smell?!” and your mom is like… “Yup! Spot on!!” and you’re like “Yess! I love banana bread!” A home is also where your pets and family are waiting for you when you get home from school with love and excitement! That’s what home means to me. By: Deacon
