The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is an amazing feeling, it's where you feel welcome, it's a peaceful and loving feeling, a soft orange light softly lighting up the house, It's not just a house though, it's a home. It's where you grew up, it's where your parents watched you grow up. It's where you took your first steps, lost your first tooth, and said your first ever words. It's where you parents took you home for the first time, it's where your first ever bedroom is, full of memories upon memories of happiness and love. It's where your mom rocked you to sleep, it's where you tried your first real food instead of baby food. It's where you experienced your first Christmas, Halloween, Birthday, Easter, and Thanksgiving. It's where your dog or cat would snuggle up and cuddle with you. It's where you then turned into a kid instead of a toddler or baby. It's where you would run around outside and play with your friends. It's where you would play around in the yard – The air full of laughing and giggling and kids cheering. It's where you would cuddle up under the covers of your bed, falling asleep to the peaceful noise of the rain, the wind softly swishing outside your window as you sleep peacefully.
