What does home mean to me?

Here are many reasons why people should have a home! A home is a place where I can be myself. A house has halls where people walk in but really in the frames of the pictures there’s memories. A house is cold when you're all alone but there’s warmth and coziness everywhere. A house has a kitchen where people cook in but that’s where my mom cooks delightful dishes, filling the kitchen with aroma. Home has a dining table where I eat. There's always laughter and smiles. A home is where we care about each other. My home is a place where love is forever more. Memories can last days,weeks,months, even years! A house has rooms where you just sleep,relax right? No, a room has memories where everyday it builds up more. A house is a favourite place in your mind but A home is a favourite place in your heart that is forever known. My home is a place where there’s a bond that’s so strong that it never breaks. When we eat, we talk about our day,my mom’s yummy alfredo pasta filling the dining room with aroma everywhere. My home has a backyard where me and my brother play sports and my family go biking. A home is just more than a building with stones and bricks. It’s a place where there’s love and care everywhere . A home has love that can spread everywhere. A home has beautiful candles that fill the house with aroma. A home is a place where you bond with your family. A home is a place where there’s peace. A home is a place that everyone deserves. it's where you find comfort, it's where you can sing. You can cry or laugh, or you can spread your wings. Open your heart, let someone in, For your home is what you can cherish within. No matter how big, no matter how small, home is where you cherish it all. Home is where I play. Home is where I lay and as the days go on, home is where I stay. I learned to walk and I learned to run. I learned to sing and I learned to have fun. Home is your paradise. Home is your sanctuary This is my base, my favourite place My beginning and end to each day. This is my space. Each corner is laced. With items I chose to care. From sweet scented candles,to fixtures & handles The atmosphere is just right to share. So near or so far. Wherever we are No matter where we chose to be. We live and learn, but we always return. This is the place I call home. Most people think of home As where we came from Until we realize It's actually what I build. For myself, In this life. Not our origin but Safe place. At the end of every rough and our home. The cat has clawed the furniture, The dog has chewed the door, The baby has colored on the walls, Chairs have scarred the floors. The faucet in the shower leaks, The table is full of stains, The kitchen ceiling fills a pan, Every time it rains. I guess it's not a perfect house As anyone can see But this is where my family is So it's just right for me. What are four walls Without the caring that gives True shelter? What are windows and doors Without the light of friendship to enter? What are rooms upon rooms Without the peace that Make them sanctuary? What are floors and foundations Without dreams that find Some grounding? What is a tiptop roof Without some rain to season it ? What are porsche and backyards Without gathering and lazy days? What is a house,at the end of the day Without the hearts that Make it a home? This is where I grew up. This is where I first walked. This is where I first talked. This is where I got my first tooth out. The place where you live or where you were born or where u Feel like you belong. Homes can be found on the streets. In trees, and where your heart is. This is my home. Thank you for doing this habitat for humanity! Everyone deserves a home! I pray for those who don't have a home by the time this is done i hope habitat for humanity Have lots of money for everyone to have a home. I hope everyone in this world that is living gets a home Like me, so they have fun, and bond more together. Everyone deserves a home. Those are reasons why people should have a home.
