The Meaning of Home

To me home isn't a place, Home is a person which you embrace, For me it’s my mom and my dad, Even when they make me sad. They always take care of me, And that’s a guarantee, I love them with all my heart, And we’ll never fall apart. If I ever had to choose another one, Then I would be completely done, There’s no other person who can replace them, Because without them there would be mayhem. As long as we’re together, My stress level is as light as a feather, But when were far apart, It’s like a life restart. In my opinion everyone should have a caring parent too, Because we all need someone when we’re feeling blue, Even if it's not your parent, A friend or family member can help you when it's urgent. In conclusion home is a person, It doesn't matter who and that is certain, As long as it’s someone who you care for, And your love comes from the core.
