What Home Means to Me
My warm loving home
It’s so quiet and peaceful
I feel like I’m in Rome
Being in a home is ever so grateful
Some are not so lucky
They can be really strong
They can’t afford a turkey
But they still can belong
Smelling the aroma
It smells like a flower
It’s from Arizona
It smells a little sour
I hear my mom doing the laundry
I hear my sister playing with her slime
Everyone in my home so friendly
Oh someone is opening a bottle of Prime
The television that I see
Talking about the poor
They don’t have a home like me
Their job is just to hold the door
I feel the hug from where I belong
I also feel my furry couch
It always feels like a Donkey Kong
When I hit my toe on the couch ouch
Having a home is so lucky
I feel like I am a gnome
Some people are just unlucky
I love my home
