Meaning of my Home

Many people think of home as just a structure. For me, it is where every moment becomes a memory. Every corner holds something special. Home is a place where, on every cold morning, your home gives you a warm hug. The laughter from my dad's jokes fills my ears. The aroma of my mom's cooking fills my nose. My home is where I can do anything and everything without the fear of being judged. Home is where my spirit and heart can roam free. My family is another part of my home; they are always there when I need them. They take care of me no matter what happens. After every long trip or journey, when I step inside my home, I feel active and energized again, getting energy from every part of my home. Home is where I belong. Home is where I get to sleep in my cozy, warm bed. Home is where my dad cracks jokes to bring everyone together, even when no one else is in the mood. Home is where my older brother playfully debates. Home is where my grandma comes over to watch us while my parents are at work, and she cooks our favorite food. Home is where you start dreaming and settle goals. A heartfelt thank you to Habitat for Humanity, For constructing homes filled with hope and unity.
