Home is Where you are Loved

Have you ever thought home and house sounded the same. Well, I live in a house, but my family makes it my home. My home has love, kindness, forgiveness and compassion. But in my house, I hear, see and smell… perfume, cologne, milkshakes, and my parents cooking. Whenever I feel sad or lonely, I go to my room to play my violin. I sometimes sit on my queen-sized bed or my desk to play either my violin or my trumpet. Now it’s time for you to know what we do for fun. Sometimes we do puzzles, laptops for 30min, go outside to play tag or in the winter, we make Snowmen. My family has started a new life in Canada. I was just 7, when I came to Canada. I moved here because my mom got a new job in Canada as a doctor and my dad got a job as a Bell agent. I thought it was going to be a big process. But when I heard that I was going and my Favorite cousin Shindara was staying behind, I was sad. It was a good thing that she was dropping us off at the airport. The day we left, when I looked back and waved, I could see tears in her eyes. Now all I have is my Canadian grandparents and my family. This is my new home in Canada. With all the love, it is all I need! Thank you for listening it means a lot to me!!
