What does home mean to me?

Home is more than four walls. It’s a place where kindness emanates from the windows and heart. A place where you can be whoever you want to be. I remember leaving my friends and family, leaving all that and coming to a foreign country. Now home is more than a place to doze off. It’s a place where memories are made. It’s where I come home every day to find delightful dishes sitting there waiting to be eaten. Oftentimes days like these are spent sitting around the dining table talking about school or work. Sometimes I walk in my room and think about all the happy,sad,and eventful memories that happened in such a small place. When my cousins came over and we monopoly. For me home is anywhere that is a sanctuary of love, hope, and happiness. A place where you can be whoever you want to be in this vast world. Although I miss my cousins and friends I left behind, I'm still happy to make my own mark in the world.
