The Meaning of Home

Some houses are big, some are small but that's not what home really means, it is not just a 4-sided building with a roof, it is a place to be with your family and express yourself and be you. When you go inside your home you feel safe and comforted. When you go into the kitchen you smell new things and try new foods. In the bedrooms you can sleep, relax, and dance around doing cartwheels or reading. In the basement you can exercise and run around. In the living room you can watch movies and play games with your family. Joy is everywhere even when times are tough. That is what home means to me, and you might be different because we all have different lives and homes, and what they mean to us, so remember next time that you walk inside your home that it is not just a building.
