What Home Means to Me

When I think of home I think of my bed. It has a soft, cozy blanket that has a heart design and it’s really thick. When I look up in my bed, I close my eyes and think of the stars above me. A home is built out of a lot of meaningful things, like when I get home from school and get greeted with a big warm hug of kindness and love. I feel like I’m powerful with just a big hug from my parents. Home is the place to feel safe, and I can give hugs to all my family members, even my cat! When I think of home I think of my brown couch and my TV. I can stretch out my legs as much as I want and I get a warm hug of coziness from my blanket. When I look in that area I see beautiful paintings on the wall and I get a warm feeling inside. For me home is the best and safest place in the world! If I didn't have a home I would be pretty sad. I think that the world is so unfair and everybody deserves a home if they are working hard and trying their best. I’m very thankful for my home and thank God EVERY DAY FOR IT; for how lucky I am to have a safe and caring home to live in and have a successful and healthy life. In a home you make memories of laughter, joy and peace. I love my home so much!
