What Does Home Mean to Me?

To me, home means lots of things! I love to be at home with my family. It makes me happy to be with people I love; especially with my cats. They're so soft and fluffy. With my two younger brothers at home they sure make a lot of noise! But I still love to be with them. At home I can dance around in the kitchen while wearing my pajamas pretending I’m an ice skater! You can't do that anywhere else. At home I feel safe, when there is loud thunder and flashing lightning. Home is when I come home from a long day at school and just feel like jumping onto the couch! At home I can express my feelings and people will understand me. At home I smell the smell of fresh dinner being made, and I hear my little brothers crashing their dinosaurs together while shouting ROAR!!!. My home isn't a house, isn't a building, isn't an apartment; my home is where I feel safe, loved, respected, and tons more. When I hear and talk about the things that people have to go through without money, shelter, food, family etc. I don't know what to say. I know everyone in this world has good, because they have God, and God is all good, but in Canada everyone knows how cold it gets in winter. I think it's not fair that people have to choose between paying rent or other nessiesties. It’s important that they have a home because remember, a house is just a house, but home is more than just home, it’s everything! It's your family making you laugh, it's where you feel safe and loved! And even MORE and MORE!
