What is Home?

Home is a special place that fills rooms with warmth and grace. A home is where you belong and where you make memories with family and friends. Home means being welcome to express a variety of emotions and feelings. Home is the foundation for our passions and our dreams. About 4 years ago I moved to Manitoba, but it didn’t feel like where I belong, it just felt like a house where I live and eat. But when I moved back to Ontario I realized home isn’t just a place you live in. Home is your surroundings, environment, and your community. A home is where you feel safe and comforted with the people you love. Home is where we welcome diversity and celebrate our beliefs and religions. It shouldn’t matter if your house costs millions or hundred thousands of dollars. It matters if you feel safe and loved. I am so grateful to have a home like this!
