What Home Means to Me

What home means to me isn't just a house, it is also the people you are surrounded by. A home is a place where you don't have to pretend to be someone else. Home is where you can be yourself. Home is where you grow up. It's also where you watch your siblings grow up and they see you change and grow. Home is a place that you can't put a price on. Your house will feel empty when you move out, but your home will stay full with all of your past memories. Home is a place you can go to no matter what! Home is not about how you decorate it, it's about the memories you make in it. Home is a place where you are loved and where you always will be. Home is the sound of your alarm clock waking you up in the morning. Home is the sound of of waking up to the birds chirping. Home is your first step and your last. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for helping people find a house of their own.
