Home Can Be Whatever

A house has to be built with bricks. A home has to be built with love. A house may have furniture, but a home has comfort. Home will always be comfortable. Home can be getting tucked into bed. Home can be fighting with your sister or brother. Home could be playing sports and it doesn't matter if you are good or bad. Home could be having sleepovers with friends, boring or fun. Home could be doing your homework or chores even when you're bored. Home can be whatever you want like Helping your parents cook or clean. Home can be seeing your parents put your picture day photos on the fridge from K1 to Grade 12. Home can be playing video games and your siblings come in for a charger. When I think of home, I think of having sleepovers with my sister. A house is when you just sit on the couch. A home is when you could be asking your parents if your cousins can sleepover. Canada is one of my favourite countries and it was where I was born. Canada will always be home to me.
