My Home Is My Heart

A home is a place where your life starts. A home is your first school where you learn to walk and speak with your mom, a loving teacher in your school. A home is a place where mistakes are made freely. A home is a place where you are never stressed because love and care surrounds you everywhere. A home is a place where your secrets are kept so no one will know them. A home is a place where when you enter you never want to leave. Some people think that a home and a house are the same. A house may have shiny walls, smooth flooring and beautiful furniture, but a home is full of love, care and hope for the future. A home has a loving heart that is filled with care and hope. A home is a place where I can celebrate my culture and religion, but most importantly I can celebrate myself. I’ve changed my home three times, and it was sad to leave the people I know. The first home was in Australia, where I was born. I had to leave after 8 months. I was really sad to leave the place where I was born. My second home was in India where my parents are from. I took some time to adjust to my new environment and when it was time to go to preschool ,I cried for my first day but got used to it and made an amazing group of friends. After Covid ended, I had to leave India, and all of my friends and family. Since I lived in India for half of my life, it was hard to let go. My third home is in Canada where I am currently living and this was really new to me because I had never gone to a foreign country before. I made an amazing group of friends and my family plans to move home to India at the end of this school year. This home, of all of my homes, will have a special place in my heart. A home is a place where you're never judged and a place to be free and follow your dreams.
