Home

Home is place where memories are made with family. A house has fancy decorations and nice wallpaper. But a home brings families together to laugh and have fun. When I am at home I feel really loved. When I am with my family, I know I am home. A house has no one to comfort you when you need it most and no one to talk to when you feel alone. When you are at home you will have someone to talk to and someone to comfort you and someone to share memories with. A home is inspiring not because of the furniture. Not because of the books or toys. Because of the people that live there. Home is where I always feel safe. When I come home from school to a big hug from my mom and dad that’s when I feel safe. Home stays with me always. My home is where my family is. Time to time I think of the memory of playing mini sticks with my brothers. In the summer running and jumping off the dock. Fishing with my dad and older brother. On stormy nights watching a family movie at the lake. That’s home. Home is a place where you can show your emotions and shed your tears but also a place where laughter is shared with people you love. Home is a place where you can be yourself.
