What does a home mean to me?
My home is not a house. A home has a door, but a home has memories. A house has a comfortable bed, but a home has laughter and joy. A house is a place to see but a home is a place to love. A house has an oven, but a home is where you bake cookies and make gingerbread houses. A house is a place to stay but a home is where emotions and joy stay. A house is a place you cannot stay forever but, a home is a place to stay forever. You may be wondering if a house and a home are the same thing. But a home where you watch a movie on a movie night. A house is a place you work in, but a home is where you do art and craft. A house is where your family stay but a home is where friends and family enjoy themselves. A house might have everything, but a home is where you express your emotions. In a house I smell a nice smell but, in a home, I smell freshly Bake cookies in the morning. In the house I see white paintings but, in the home, I see my family playing board games at dinnertime. In a house I hear food being prepared but, in a home, I hear laughter when one of us tells a joke. In the house I touch my couch but, in a home, I touch photos when my family is happy. My home is amazing. A house is ordinary, but my home is special. In my home all of us laugh and feel emotions. I love my home, there is no other place as home.
