The Perfect Home

Home is a loving place where people live. Most people have them but not all people, just like Logan. Logan is a homeless, 10 year old boy who was abandoned. Every day he begs for food, then goes down to the lake before the sun rises. On one foggy day he hears sirens which mean a storm is coming. He panics because the storm is 60 miles away. He has 40 minutes to find shelter. He goes to the woods but realizes that trees could fall on him. He goes to a neighborhood. He first goes to a brown house but they weren’t home so he goes to a green home. He knocked, someone answered. It was an adult. “Can I stay with you while the storm happens?” “Sure come on in. Oh wait what's your name?” “Logan.” “My name is Nate and this is my wife Hanna. Anyways do you want play a game?” “Sure what game?” “Let’s make one up.” “Okay let's do a race we start up stairs and first one to hi five Hanna wins. Ready, set, go!” Nate takes the lead skips one stair but Logan comes from behind skips five stairs and takes the lead and hive fived Hanna to take the win. “Aww man I can't believe I lost.” “I'm hungry” “Okay then let’s go eat then” Nate pulled out six Pop Tarts so they each get two then boom the storm begins. After the storm is over Logan packs his stuff and heads for the door but Nate stops him. “Logan would you like to live with us?” “Forever?” asked Logan. “Yes forever” “Well then yes” “Okay” said Nate “we’re having Tacos tonight.” Later they have Tacos and it’s Tuesday “at least I'm not hungry any more.” “That’s good," Nate said happily.
