What Home Means To Me

Home for me means love, peace, my friends and an outstanding family. Imagine staying outside in the frigid weather, instead of going inside where it is warm and very comfortable. Imagine sleeping on the solid cement sidewalk, instead of a marvelous bed and a lamp so you can read books at night. Imagine having no shelter and getting rained on, snowed on,hailed on, instead of a shelter that can protect you and your family. Imagine having no food to eat and feeling so hungry and having an empty tummy. I can’t imagine it because I have a fridge and a pantry that has loads of food. Imagine being bored and not having anything to do, instead of being able to go and choose which video game you want to play. Imagine having no company and being alone, instead of being able to host people in your own home. It is hard to imagine, but it is a reality for many.
