A Home Full of Love
A Home Full of Love
A house may have beautiful things to display,
But a home has love that never fades away.
A house may stand through storm and night,
But a home is where you’ll feel just right.
A house may have a place to rest,
But a home has warmth that feels the best.
A house can be completed or bare,
But a home is truly rare.
Home is where I can be strong and bold,
A place where my heart unfolds.
Home is where I’m not being judged,
A place where my voice won’t be plugged.
Home is where memories are made,
Some are joyful, some may fade,
It might be good or bad but they all stayed
and they are all some things I’ll never trade.
Home is where my sister is a pain,
But with her there's no need to strain,
And yet she is the one who knows me best,
Do you think I might be blessed?
Home is when the scent of dinner fills the air,
As my mom cooks it for me with lots of care.
My mom is the one who makes my house a home,
She makes each one of us truly known.
Home is when my dad works hard, day and night,
Sacrificing his sleep, with all his might.
He’s strong outside but soft inside,
He makes me feel something more than pride.
Home is when my family and I,
share funny thoughts that make us sigh.
Laughter filling the room,
as the flowers bloom.
Everyone deserves a home,
A place to be happy and to roam.
To share their heart of chrome,
And a place where their dreams won’t be blown.
Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building homes for people. You're giving them shelter, hope, and something to call their own.
