What Home Means to Me

Home means a place where I feel happy and calm. It is a place where I feel loved and safe. At home I get to sleep with my cat and read ‘‘WINGS OF FIRE’’ by Tui T. Sutherland. At home I spend time with my cat. Her name is Luna and she likes to play with my toys. Sometimes at night she will play with my toys and wake up my parents. I always think this is funny because it never wakes me up even though it happens in my bedroom. Luna makes me feel happy and safe. She sleeps with me every night on top of my legs. I have a bookshelf full of books at the end of my bed. I love to read and fill up my bookshelf with new books. Books excite me and make me feel happy. Home is a happy place.
