What is Home

Have you wondered what the meaning of home is? I was talking about the meaning of home and asked my family, “what does the meaning of home mean?”. My mom turned around and said “sweetie, the meaning of home is family and love”. The next day, I took a walk again to think about the meaning of home. It was dinner time and my family was waiting for me. I sat down at the table and couldn't stop thinking about the meaning of home. After my food I went upstairs to rest. The next day we went on a trip, I didn’t want to leave my home. I was upset that I was leaving my home alone, but I had to leave anyway. We went to the pool to cheer me up, but nothing helped, so we went back home the next day. I went inside and hugged everything around me. I felt upset when I left my home, but now I feel so much better with my home and without leaving it again. I smelled the air and it smelled better than anything. I jumped around in happiness, I tasted the fresh food from my kitchen and it tasted the same as my old food. I saw my home, pets, bedroom and more things in my home. I now know what the meaning of home means. It means family and love like my mother said to me. I finally knew what home was after guessing for a few days, but now I know what home means! Home is a place where I can be myself, feel loved and be happy.
