Home is Peace

Have you ever wondered why home feels so good? Well maybe it’s because of the warm hug and the feeling of comfort when you walk in the door. When I walk in my kitchen I feel the warm floor and know that delicious food will be made. When I sit on the warm, soft pillows and know I am secure. When I lie down on my couch I feel comfortable and cozy. When I walk into my room I see my dog lying on my bed. When I walk downstairs to the basement it’s a place to let everything go after a long day. I connect with my friends playing video games and just hang out. It feels so peaceful. The real meaning of peace is home. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity to help build homes and peace.
