More Than a House

A home is more than a roof on your head, It is a place to goof and eat some bread. Home is where I get chased, But never disgraced. A home is where the heart is, they say, But a house is a construct made of clay My Favorite thing about my home, Is a pillow shaped as a dove. A home reminds me of love, that cannot be bought from Rome. My friend’s Famous garlic fries, That makes my mouth water for joy. A home is where mistakes are shared, and memories are held. But a house is repaired when it gets old. A house has walls and with some rails, But a home has love that never fails. Thank you, Home for Humanity for giving humanity a home, So, we may not wander or roam.
