A couple years ago, when I was 7 and a half, Sadly, My dad passed away. I was so scared, I didn’t know what to do. I remember when it was happening, I stuffed my pillows on each side of my head to prevent hearing yelling or anything else. The scariest part for especially me, was that I was the one who found him collapsed. Our home didn’t feel like home anymore, so we moved. Me and my mom like where we are now, though, and that’s all that matters. We’re still near my old house though. My new home feels safe. And has given us a new start. Thank you Habitat for humanity! For building houses for people who can’t afford them and for giving others a new start too. And a huge thanks to my mom for helping me get through the sadness.
