What home means to me

When I think of home I think of the safe and warm home I can be myself in. For me it's more than that, it's the parents I can trust and the siblings I love. It is the house I can hang out with friends with and store all my memories. When I picture home I think of the pets I will always love and the fluffy warm snuggles I have with them. When I think of home I think of the yummy rice pie my mom makes for dessert. I love when my mom calms me down when I've had a bad day and the stuff my mom and dad get me like my clothes. I love when my parents take me to do fun things like go to the pool or go to see my cousins. Home is playing with your pets in the sand at the beach. Home is the place to be you and to trust and be cared for. When I think of home I think of the mom and dad that will love me and protect me. Home is where you love, care, play, sleep and eat. Home is where you belong, but home is mostly for the parents and siblings that were by my side through the good and the bad. Don’t forget to tell your parents and siblings just how much you love them everyday!
