The Meaning of Home

Home is a safe place for me. I can talk to my dad or mom when something is not right with me. School makes me miss home a lot. Home is my favorite place. It's quiet, peaceful as the dawn's light. Home is not everyone's favorite place, and that's alright! My family and I celebrate holidays. I played with my brother when I was little. Even sibling rivalry happens a lot at home. It doesn't matter as long as I have my home. Home is about love and safety where you can have bad times but it just washes away at home. Home is where you always will be loved by people, even family and friends. Everytime time I'm at home it feels like my passed away members are hugging me. It feels warm like a bear hugging me. Imagine being hugged by a bear. I feel safe and protected and loved by my home. My home is like a winning ticket in the lottery because it makes me happy and excited. Even though we have bad times at other places I just imagine my home coming to life. Telling me bad times are alright they happen, they just wash away like a washing machine. It doesn’t matter where I go, home will always be my favorite place no matter where I go. Thank you Habitat for humanity for making this challenge for kids to donate 10$ to people without a home. Thanks to you awesome people everyone will end up with a home.
