What is Home?

A roof above our heads we all need, And it's the sweetest thing indeed. A mansion or a hut, it doesn't matter, As long as we have love to make our hearts fatter. With family by our side, we always smile, And home is where we share memories mile by mile. Wrapped up in a cozy blanket, I wake, To the delightful smell my loved ones make. Playing board games and sharing laughter and love, Is the sweetest thing that makes our hearts shove. Warmed by chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa, From the ones we love, it's the best scenario. Sibling rivalry may sometimes arise, But in hard times, comfort is our prize. Home is where the heart beats strong, Where you feel you truly belong. It's a place of comfort and peace, Where all your worries seem to cease. Home is more than just a roof and walls, It's the sweetest feeling that deeply enthralls. It's where love and acceptance reside, And where you can always find a guide. No matter where life's journey takes you, Home will always be a place that's true. A place of safety and grace, Where you can always find your space. So, cherish your home and your loved ones too, And remember that sweet memories are waiting for you.
