What Home Means to Me

To me home is a place I have the right to feel safe in. When I am in my home, I am warm because of our fireplace and heater. I can live with little to no worries because my home is free of judgement. Having a home keeps me healthy. Everyone should have a place to eat, sleep and be clean knowing you are safe. Having a home is wonderful. You can have amazing experiences and make beautiful memories. I always feel safe in my home because I have a roof over my head and food I can access when I need it. Being around my family always makes me feel safe, protected, and lively. My home is full of laughter, joy, and warmth. Home is a place to feel cherished and special. A home has people that make you feel special. There are people you can trust in a house, and they will be there for you. It is important to have these people around you in your home because they can change your life in so many spectacular ways. These people can bring you so much comfort and delight. I never feel left out or alone when I am with these people. Everyone deserves a home, and everyone deserves to experience having these wonderful moments and feelings. Your home does not need to be big or fancy, it does not matter what it looks like. If you feel safe in your home that is perfect. When I was first asked what home means to me, I did not think much about it, but now that I am writing about it, I realized how much home means to me. Everyone deserves a home.
