Belong

The word I chose for the meaning of home is belong. First of all, I chose the word belong because, whenever I'm at home I feel safe because whenever I feel sad, angry or frustrated whoever notices will care and help try to solve it. Belong is a nice word to choose because everyone belongs. An example for why everyone belongs is… One time near Halloween my family came over to see us because they live in the USA and haven't seen us in a while. So my younger cousins got into an argument because all the younger ones wanted to use the mini basketball hoop on my bedroom door, while my sister and the others were playing with dolls in my sisters room. But my younger cousins couldn't score because the hoop was too high up. One of my cousins got mad so he threw the ball at his younger sister and they all got in a fight. So my sister and my other cousin got the adults and about half an hour later it's solved, we lower the basketball hoop and my uncle and my dad go in my bedroom to supervise so it doesn't happen again. In case they get mad because they can’t score, my dad lifts them up so they can dunk on the hoop and always score. Finally, all the pets I have owned always eat and drink, that means they feel safe and welcomed and feel like they belong. Finally, If you come to my home you should feel welcomed and belonged and safe.
