Home to me

Home can come in many different forms. So can houses. But a house is a building, a home is a place where you feel safe and comfortable, where you can call your own. A home holds all of our different memories and traditions. A place where you enjoy the presence of the people you love. The place where you have all your favorite things. When I'm home, I love to play basketball and piano with my brother. Every day I wake up to the smell of fresh flowers. I always come home from school and taste a natural unprocessed dinner for me and my family to enjoy. It's a place where we make memories strong as steel that we cherish in our heart forever. When I’m home I hear the sounds of the calming voice of the people who love me. Whenever I'm home I feel the people around me who care about me. After a long day, I come home, all my troubles from before goes away like rain on a sunny day. Home should be a place where you can call your own, a place where you can be with your loved ones. I want to thank Habitat for Humanity for making this possible for the people who don’t have a place to call home. It is amazing how hard they are working to ensure that everybody can have a roof over their head and a place to call home.
