Why My Home Feels Like Home

There are so many reasons why my home feels like home. My room feels like home because it has lots of artwork and it’s really pretty. It has lots of designs and has lots of things I like to do. It has a TV so that I can watch my favourite shows. It makes me feel happy, calm and safe. My living room feels like home because I can hear my family being loud and laughing and having fun. I love to see my family having fun and being a little bit crazy. Sometimes I can hear music playing and I can hear my little sister laughing. I can hear my mom cooking. I can hear my dad on his phone. And I love when my mom cooks my favourite dinners. My favorite smell is my mom cooking baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, pasta and stuff like that. One of my favourite things about my home is the dinner table, because we all sit down and talk about how our day was. These are the reasons why my home feels like home.
