Home: A Loving Place

Home, a loving haven where love and laughter is always in the air, My mom’s laughter and kindness makes me feel loved and proud, Whenever I walk through the doors after a long day, I feel relieved. There are many places in my home I adore, The kitchen, where the smells of food made with love flows through the house, It tastes like harmony and fills my hungry tummy. The living room, where me and my family cuddle on the couch, While watching movies and eating sweet treats and fruit, Smelling popcorn as it pops in the microwave for us to enjoy. Home is the place where everything is possible in my mind, My creativity spills onto pages while I draw in my bedroom at my desk, My soft bed makes me feel warm like a baked potato cuddled in my warm blanket. Everyone deserves a home like me. A place where they can feel safe and free, And can enjoy what life has to offer without feeling sad or guilty, And live their life to the fullest happily.
