I am from the street that has many kids playing on the road, And kids giggling from outside and inside, Houses far apart,free,after long years of joy, Parents watching their kids with joy and laughter on the sidewalks. I am from the house with a thick grey wall separating two houses, With toys scattered around the room echoing, Mom calling us to clean,so many years ago. Some days,you can kind of hear echos of the toys and moms voice calling. I am from my mom cleaning with the cleaning products, And my dad typing on his computer for work but takes short breaks. I am from the place where my caring family lives, Here they are loving ,helpful and so much more, They make everyone feel safe and special, Just enough to be themself. I am from home.
