What Does Home Mean to Me?

Home means having a nice, comfy bed to sleep in and to have friends and family I can depend on. Home means having a roof over your head that will keep you warm and dry. Home means to be able to feel safe and come home to the people you love. Home means having the smell and taste of your mom or dad's yummy cooking and maybe sometimes some dessert. Home means being able to see me and my family spending time together and having people to cheer you on if you're nervous or scared. Home means having the touch of your nice fluffy carpet on your bare feet. Home means being able to see your pet (if you have one) and being able to love them. Home means having the sound of family chatting and meowing as loud as a trumpet. Home means having people to help you if your favourite blue pencil jumps out of your hand and you can't find it. And that is what home means to me.
