The Deep Meaning of Home

Home, ‘tis a deep word, With many meanings, But what may it really mean, Out of all the meanings from the past, Or the present, What is the meaning that stands out to you? Is home an abode? A place where you settle and live, Or is home an entity? In which you feel safe around, Or is home the place where you entered the world? Or is home a safe haven? In which you may go to relax, To relieve the stress that you have been carrying. Or is home a language? In which you speak with people you trust. Home, to me, is a group of trustworthy people, In which I feel safe around, A family, Where they go, that location is where my home goes, Whether it is to California or to the depths of Tartarus, But if they do perish, you must find a new home, A new family, A new safe haven, A new group of entities, A new hope, A new home.
