I am from a street of no houses. My house is in the middle of the street. So I'm surrounded by houses but no houses on my street. I am from the house with three floors. My room is on the highest floor, my dad’s on the lowest. The furniture scrunched together it almost feels like i'm getting suffocated by the strings that reach out. I am from a house where my brothers shrieks fill the air and every time he suddenly shrieks my hair stands up and I tremble in surprise. I am from home. The heart of Manitoba where the two rivers meet. At least I was for a while. My dad on his computer in the basement you can hear clickity clackity all day. I am from home.
