I am from a house hiding from others, trees helping to hide it ,coyotes singing, gravel flying after dad’s truck drives by. Gun shots in the summer, aiming for cans. I am from the house with 2 floors, with painted walls,still smelling from years ago. Every day,cracking away. Brother and sister play fighting everyday until he tumbled away to another house. I am from a trash filled house with loud guitar filling the air. The beautiful aroma of cheesy mac n’ cheese. Snow melting a wet trail after dad walks in for a hard day of work. I am from jam sessions with my brother with mom yelling at us to come to dinner. Dad’s aroma of metal from the work shop. The taste of food that I don't like. Cuddles with mom every night before bed, And the sound of the annoying alarm clock every day before school. This is home
