What Home Means to Me

Home is not just a place with walls and a roof, home can be out on the streets for some. The meaning of home is a safe, loving, and welcoming space. Home is with the people who love you most. Home is a place where most people feel safe. For some people, home isn't like this. For some people home is scary, sad, and lonely. Home means different things to different people some people feel happy and loved at home while others do not, not all who smile when they roam are able to smile at home. Home is all the flaws and imperfections. Home to me is where I feel accepted and happy, welcomed and cozy. Home is somewhere you can cry, and let your feelings out, Home is my safe space. Home to me is when I can have a big smile on my face, one that nobody can ever erase.
