What A Home Means

A home is a place where I am loved. My parents support me through bad times and good times. A home is a place of comfort where I am able to relax. It’s a place where I can smell the sweet scent of lush trees, the sounds of chirping birds, and the feel of a cool breeze. A home is a place where a canine companion is with me. When I come home from anywhere I see a furry dog in the window waiting for me. A home is a place where friends are around me. My friend is my bestie and we’re basically family. A home is a place where family is near. Our faith is the glue that keeps us together. Home is really wherever my family is. A home should be fun with exciting activities. A home should have food, water, and a place to sleep. But most of all, a home is where you feel loved, supported, and comfortable. When I ask myself, “What is the difference between a house and a home?” I just remember, “A home is a house made of hearts.”
