Home, the feeling not the place

Home, to me the meaning of home is different to the definition, a dwelling place ; a person's house or abode. To me, home is not just where you or I live, but a feeling. The feeling of home is peace, like sitting with my family by the fireside, even far from home I can still feel it. When celebrating or partying I can also feel at home, because my extended family is far away, and even if I can't see them, I party with my friends and my parents' friends, feeling at home with them. In the summer I go to my best friend's house and spend time there, to me it is my home away from home. At home and near home, I feel loved. My parents and friends support me, and even my dog too! Home means safety, being in my parents arms, sitting under a pile of blankets and watching something. This is home. And this is how I feel at home.
