Do you know what home is? Home is not just a building. Home is not just a place. Home is a feeling. This is what home feels like: A fresh, hot, steamy cup of tea on a cold winter night. Home sounds like coyotes howling and yapping at dawn. Home looks like animals in my yard in the morning when the sun is coming up. Home smells like my dogs after playing outside. Places that feel like home is my grandma and grandpa’s home because my grandma makes cookies with me. People that make me feel like home are my dogs named Shadow and Karl and my cousin’s dog named Butter. What makes you feel at home?
